DIG IT!
On Wednesday, October 28th, 3rd and 4th grade performed their musical called Dig It, which is about ancient civilizations centuries ago. Directed by Miss Canene during 3rd and 4th grades’ music classes, the musical was a fantastic show.
We interviewed Miss Canene about the musical.
Q: “How long did you take to practice?”
A: “About seven weeks.”
Q: “How would you rate the musical?”
A: “I would rate the Edgewood musical a 10 while the Jefferson musical was a 9.”
Q: “Who shined the most in the musical?”
A: “I think all the kids shined amazingly because the last time I did this it was with 5th and 6th grade and this time it was 3rd and 4th grade and they did amazing!!”
Q: “What was your favorite part of the musical?”
A: “My favorite part was when the Greek Chorus broke the paper plates.”
Q: “Why did you pick this musical?”
A: “It ties in with our Social Studies Curriculum and they’ve learned a lot about Lucy the skeleton which is 3.2 million years old.”`
