The video above is about S.T.E.M. , the new big subject!
Here you will see some activities students are doing with S.T.E.M.
Question and answer session with Mrs. Tomasevich
Q: What is S.T.E.M.?
A: S.T.E.M. is a curriculum based on 4 different subject areas: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Q: Do you like S.T.E.M. ?
A: I love teaching with a S.T.E.M. approach because it combines 4 subject areas I am passionate about students learning. If I can combine the subjects into one lesson then it’s a win-win for all involved.
Why teach those subjects in isolation when you can teach them intertwined with each other? Students typically like to be hands-on in their learning and many S.T.E.M. lessons allow for that type of learning to occur.
